Night Market
The Saturday Chiang Rai Walking Street Market on Thanalai Road opened in 2008. Operating from late afternoon until midnight, it consists of three sections, one specialising in products unique to specified districts (OTOP) a second area offering handmade and home-produced local products, Thai massage and spas, and a third part dedicated to eating, drinking and entertainment. This variety of products and services provides a lovely blend of shopping, browsing, tasting different dishes, and fun, with many hill tribes adding to the colour with displays of garments, jewellery, old coins, bric-a-brac, and souvenirs.
The Legend offers shuttle services to and from the Chiang Rai night market.
