Waterford Valley Golf Course

Waterford Valley Golf Course was designed and built in 1994 by Rather International. The course is located about 40 minutes driving time from the center of Chiang Rai. It is a 7,100-yard, par-72 layout that takes you on an interesting journey up and down the rolling hills of northern Thailand not far from the famous Golden Triangle. The course has amazing views and is a wonderful challenge for golfers of all skill levels. The Clubhouse and facilities in general are nice and you will enjoy your day of golf here. There is a 20-room golf lodge if you want to stay and play for several days.

From the moment you tee up on this challenging gem of a course, you will have a great experience. Time seems to stand still as you experience beautiful views of the valleys below and enjoy a very well-designed course. Some days the greens can be lightning fast and will test your imagination often, as they are undulating and have a lot of slope in some of them. Several tee shots are severely down-hill and you can hit monster drives that give you the opportunity to reach several par five’s in two shots.
